The value initially appraised at R$ 5 million (US$ 1.024.000) was updated, as provided for in the Public Notice that in the “month following the publication of this Public Notice, the expected Fixed Grant value would be updated by the IPCA a.m. rate”.
Rede Loto adopted the name Loto Carioca for the product to be marketed and will cover the entire territory of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
The new system will be available in virtual media, with online access on a personal device or using mobile applications (APPs), web, VLT (Video Lottery Terminal), POS (Point of Sales), or Terminals/Totems.
In addition to the virtual medium, Loto Carioca was authorized by the contract to operate and sell sports betting in physical stores, outposts, street vendors and sports bars.
"Since I took office in July last year, I had the objective of publishing the Accreditation Notice for sports betting. We achieved more than that. We have the first company accredited and operating in our country," said Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, president of Loterj.

The company integrates the service with PIXS Cobrança e Serviços em Tecnologia S/A, which will be responsible for the technological solution for payments by electronic means and will allocate 5% (five percent) per month of Gross Revenue from Games related to the Variable Grant in the lottery modality of Fixed Odds Sports Betting.
It should be noted that PIXS Cobranças e Serviços em Tecnologia S/A was approved through an In-person Auction, held at Loterj's headquarters, on December 23 of last year, being submitted to all the necessary bidding process.
