CMO of galera.bet was part of Gaming Insights Santiago that discussed regulation in Brazil

In order to follow the evolution of the regulation of the sports betting sector in Latin America, the CMO of galera.bet, Andrea Vianna, attended Gaming Insights Santiago. “Understanding how the scenario is being treated and analyzed in countries that also address the issue brings a rich and essential debate for building the entire process here in Brazil”, states Vianna.

With lectures on best practices to protect players and also the market, Gaming Insights was held in Santiago, capital of Chile, and featured debates on regulation in South American countries. International specialists in the electronic games industry were present at the event, such as the CMO of galera.bet, Andrea Vianna, who commented on the edition.

“Gaming Insights was very important both for the exchange of experiences and for understanding the current context of the betting market in Chile and other Latin American countries. We are in the moment of regulation in Brazil and understanding how the scenario is being treated and analyzed in countries that also address the subject brings a rich and essential debate for the construction of the whole process,” states Vianna.

Aiming at the exchange of experiences between South American countries, the event was an opportunity to understand the processes carried out in other places, as well as learn from positive cases. Some nations have already gone through the regulation phase, such as Colombia, and others are in the midst of this process, such as Peru and Chile.

“The event in Chile brought many insights into the current moment in the country, such as the regulatory process, good practices in countries that are already regulated, eSports and online games, technology, such as Metaverso, means of payment and marketing guidelines, activations and affiliates,” evaluates Vianna.

With an interest in combating match-fixing, galera.bet, like Gaming Insights, is a defender of responsible gaming, and also brought to the debates the experience lived in the midst of debates that took place in Brazil.

“At these events we have the opportunity to talk and discuss various subjects related to sports betting and games. We can learn from regulated markets, such as Colombia, and bring some of our knowledge to the process that is being built in Brazil,” concludes Vianna.
