In a didactic and direct way, the document unravels the subject of match-fixing and what steps to follow in case of approaches, in addition to providing tips to stay away from this practice and what penalties are foreseen for those involved in this type of corruption scheme.
The manual also addresses the issue of sexual, gender and other harassment. The club also reinforces the importance of protecting and alerting our athletes about these situations, listing the measures provided for by the TJD, STJD, Civil Code, Pelé Law and CLT.
Ceará, when faced with a victim situation, will offer all possible resources to take repressive measures and to combat discrimination and racism.
The club is also attentive to countering all other forms of prejudice, violence, infractions or fraud, especially to protect everyone who makes up the Club. Precautions with doping are also present in the manual. Ceará is intolerant of any form of doping fraud. The list of prohibited substances and methods and sporting sanctions for athletes are also in the manual.
“We want to guide our athletes, especially those at the base, in order to inform them about topics that are being widely disseminated in our midst, not only in national football, but worldwide,” clarified Fred Bandeira, legal director.
“Our legal department decided to launch this material to alert and prevent our players, striving for the good institutional image and preserving the physical, moral and psychological integrity of each player or member of the technical commission that wears the shirt of Ceará.”
