Still young in the market, B1bet presented itself at BiS SiGMA Americas, in Sao Paulo, as an important sports betting house demonstrating a strong vocation in meeting the expectations of its users. José Vasconcelos, marketing director, spoke with GMB about the strategy that guides the company's growth and the constant search for innovation and good offers. “We are also very close to affiliates, a pot of gold that needs to be geared towards success.”


GMB – What does it represent for B1bet, a still new bookmaker, to participate in a global gaming event like BiS SiGMA?
José Vasconcelos
– For us it represents a very important step. Despite being a still new company, we are growing gradually. Stepping in the right place at the right time is more important than running over unfamiliar terrain.

And delivering a fully structured website to the gambler with a series of offers is essential. Have you been doing this?

We have these offers on the website and we need to explain them to our customers, as well as the brand positioning. We are creating this positioning precisely so that in the future we can release something bigger for them.

Speaking of brand positioning, a sports betting site relies heavily on marketing. How is the relationship with affiliates?
Affiliate is a pot of gold in this scenario. We bring him closer and give tools for him to develop, showing strategic points that can be explored and, on top of that, we offer feedback and credibility so that he can pass with peace of mind to those who are following. It is the best moment for us with affiliates, transforming the partnership into safe steps. And we deliver that at all times.

So, already consolidated although it is still a new company, it just needs the regulation for B1bet to take off even more. How do you see this issue?
Regarding regulation, we believe that there is still a lot to happen. We will wait for the solutions and if the taxes are necessary, we will share it and we will live with the rules, because it is important to live and coexist with them. Whatever is fair we will be a part of. B1bet is very transparent and we need that, if it is regulated, we are calm.

Are you already looking for international certifications that will be required to apply at B1bet?
For sure. Our legal department is touching on these points. Meetings take place, we receive deliveries from them, we understand what needs to be done and, at the right time, we will have everything on the table and resolved.

And is the platform stabilized, fast, agile and end-user friendly?
