GMB visited Skilrock Technologies stand to learn about the company's news brought to BiS SiGMA Americas 2023, and was received by Alexandre Tauszig, business development manager at Paybrokers. As Skilrock's CEO was unable to come to Brazil, the former employee of the company, who was responsible for the LatAm market, was invited to participate as an associate during the fair.
Paybrokers, a Brazilian payment method company, is in partnership with the technological arm of the Indian group SUGAL & DAMANI in important projects in the country, including Lottopar (Paraná), Lotep (Paraíba) and Lotema (Maranhão).
GMB – What are the company's news in BiS SiGMA?
Alexandre Tauszig – The fair is sensational. I am proud to be at my former company, Skilrock. Unfortunately, Skilrock CEO Sujit Lahiry was unable to attend. So, I'm with them for PayBrokers, since we are partners in several projects in Brazil. Skilrock is introducing “Scan-n-Play”, a solution for retail lotteries. The player goes to a lottery store and buys, through a hand or table terminal, a ticket with a QR Code and goes directly to a page of a lottery or website, bets and later withdraws his prize at the POS, without the need to register.
Is it a complete novelty for the Brazilian market, since there is nothing similar?
Not only in Brazil but in other parts of the world. Skilrock has already presented this solution at fairs in Asia and Europe and has been a great success for its innovation in the lottery market.
The lottery market has been growing in Brazil with Caixa losing the monopoly in the sector and you are already involved in important projects, aren't you?
Undoubtedly. Skilrock is in consortium with PayBrokers in Paraná, making the monitoring and management system for its state lottery. Skilrock is with NGT in a consortium to operate the Maranhão Lottery and it has already closed a project as a supplier, also for NGT, in the BRLoto consortium for the Paraíba Lottery, in which they will supply the physical scratch cards in the state. Soon they will be on the Brazilian market.

Exactly. Lots of acting. Skilrock is once again at this fair, as it has been in the two previous editions, in a partnership between the company and Thomas Greg, one of the largest security printing companies in Brazil.
