Edson Lenzi – Really, a very big fair. We see the exponential growth of BiS in recent years. This demonstrates the consolidation of the Brazilian market and the seriousness with which it is treated by operators. An event like this demonstrates this and we increasingly believe in the growth of the market with regulation.
And a strong presence of PayBrokers, with the booth full all the time. Was it a positive fair for business?
Yes. Many operators and customers coming to visit us. We have a very good return and even much higher than we expected. The business as a whole for our ecosystem has been very positive.
Both in the area of payment methods and in the project that PayBrokers has been developing in the lotteries sector?
In both of them. Of course, in the area of lotteries there are some differentials, as there is dependence on bidding and a series of other requirements. Even so, we received a visit from many state lottery professionals asking for our expertise and how to carry out the whole process in an equitable way to serve the market, knowing that we won a competition in Paraná.
So, has the project you won in Paraná already created buzz and interest from other lotteries?
Loteria do Paraná staff created a management ecosystem directly linked to the means of payment and PayBrokers partnered with Skilrock, an Indian lottery operator, to meet the requirements of the Notice. And people have found this method created by the state of Paraná to have control very positive. It is possible to control all responsible gaming and issues such as AML, directly through the payment and management platform, for all operators, with the publicity that this requires. We believe that this will be replicated in other states, as it was a beautiful creation from Paraná.
A beautiful creation from Paraná, but well absorbed by the PayBrokers and Skilrock consortium. Are you getting ahead with a new product that might spark that interest?
In addition to interest, it generates all control for the State and security so that they can control, among other things, responsible gaming for the sports betting niche, one of the biggest concerns. It is possible to parameterize volumetry and effectively control what each person is placing in bets on all operators, to avoid abuse.
Is PayBrokers satisfied with BiS SiGMA 2023?
Yes, very satisfied. This year, we have numerous events and this is very tiring, but they are always very positive, as we can expose what we are doing, talk to customers and explain how our market works to professionals abroad. The number of foreign visitors we receive is impressive, which is very positive for our market.
