Social transfer is the core activity of Loterias CAIXA which, in addition to fueling the dreams of players with their millionaire prizes, is an important source of funds to foster the development of Brazil.

By the end of June 2023, Loterias CAIXA raised the amount of R$10.34 billion (US$ 2.1b). The half-year result is due to Mega-Sena, R$ 3.7 billion (US$ 760m), and Lotofácil, R$ 3.4 billion (US$ 696m).
In addition, the special contests held during the period broke their sales records. Dupla de Páscoa raised R$ 109 million (US$ 22.3m) and Quina de São João raised R$ 419 million (US$ 85.8m).
Loterias CAIXA offered R$ 3.38 billion (US$ 690m) in prizes in the 1st half of 2023. The amount is 1.3% higher than that registered in the same period of 2022, when R$ 3.33 billion (US$ 682m) were distributed.
