A study by Pluri, a company focused on the Brazilian sports market, points out that Unimed (health sector) is the one that most sponsors clubs in the country, followed by sports material companies Umbro and Champion, tied for second place.
The sector of sports betting companies is placed in third place of the study, with emphasis on Esportes da Sorte and Betnacional, each with 6 clubs occupying fourth place. Next comes EstrelaBet and Pixbet, each with 5 sponsors.
In the Top 10, sports betting houses occupy four positions, while other companies in the segment appear up to the 40th position (Betano, BrBet and Blaze).
Pluri points out that in May, the study period, 13 companies in the sector sponsored football clubs in Brazil, occupying the third overall position in the analysis.
In addition to the companies already mentioned up to the 40th position, Dafabet, Mr Jack.Bet, Sportsbet.io, Parimatch, Betfair and Novibet also appear in the Pluri study.
Currently, 39 of the 40 clubs that compete in the Brasileirão Séries A and B are sponsored by bookmakers.
Anyway, it is worth noting that the study refers to the month of May and currently EstrelaBet sponsors seven clubs in the Brasileirão: América and Internacional, in Série A, and Botafogo-SP, CRB, Criciúma, Ponte Preta and Ceará, in Série B. Of these, only Internacional and CRB are not master sponsored by the company.
