The meeting took place at the headquarters of Sorte Online, in São Paulo, and was attended by, in addition to the hostess, other market players such as LotoMaisFácil, Lotérica Nova, Inovalotto, Unindo Sonhos and Dessimoni & Blanco Advogados.
The purpose of the meeting was to advance negotiations for the creation of a positive agenda with the main stakeholders and regulatory bodies, aiming, in addition to the imminent regulation, to expand the lottery intermediation market in Brazil.
For Mirko Mayeroff, president of AIDIGLOT, it was an excellent opportunity to endorse the subject and evolve with the desire of the member companies: “The best path for everyone is regulation. In addition to making the sector more competitive, it will encourage even more transparent processes, generating more revenue for the public sector and making games safer for the end customer, by relying on regulated companies that offer strictly defined conditions of Responsible Gaming, for example, which is something we already do."
"It is a natural and beneficial path for all parties. These meetings will become more and more routine, as they are important moments for us to understand the paths that are being followed and the next steps towards regulation in 2023," added Mayeroff.
AIDIGLOT was created with the aim of unifying the voice of companies in the segment in the fight for improvements in the sector and in defense of consumer rights. The Association's proposal is to regulate lottery intermediation, which involves several direct or indirect jobs, and impacts the lives of thousands of families involved throughout the service provision chain.
Members occasionally meet to discuss advances and challenges ahead, with the aim of taking the discussion to the Public Power and consolidating the practice in a responsible manner.
The Association of Lottery Games Digital Intermediaries was created to unify the voice of companies in this segment in the search for improvements in the sector and in the defense of consumer interests.
