Codere, a leading multinational in the gaming sector in Spain and Latin America, continues to promote its #CodereConEllas campaign by donating US$ 100 for each goal scored during the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia/New Zealand 2023™, that takes place between July 20 and August 20.
This solidarity initiative seeks to support, for the second consecutive year, the project of the NGO 'She Wins' for the empowerment of Latin American women through sports and education.
Alberto Telias, Codere Online Chief Marketing Officer, commented: “For Codere it is a great satisfaction to contribute to the professional development of women through soccer and education. We are proud to be able to do so in the regions where our company operates, as part of our social commitment. This objective leads us to get involved in different actions and collaborate closely with ‘She Wins’ to make it a reality.”
The company has been actively promoting women's soccer in Latin America through its #CodereConEllas campaign and thanks to the close collaboration of its sponsored women's teams, Real Madrid C.F. (Latin America), Club de Fútbol Monterrey Rayados (Mexico) and Club Atlético River Plate (Argentina).
The players of its women's teams have shared inspiring testimonials to promote the sports and professional vocations of women in sports and professional practice, as can be seen in the series 'Digital Encounters'.
In March, the company also hosted the first Women in Football Leadership Academy. In addition, fans have the opportunity to enjoy different 'Codere Experiences', such as accompanying the players in their training sessions or traveling with them to enjoy the matches live.
With the donations from Codere's charity goals in the Women's World Cup, the company hopes to continue contributing to its social commitment. The evolution of this action can be followed through the group's social networks and the different digital platforms.
At the end of the Women's Football World Cup, Codere will deliver the check collected with the solidarity goals to 'She Wins' in a very special act, also maintaining its collaboration with this organization throughout the year.
