Betfair promotes Brazilian Portuguese classes for its teams in Europe

Betfair, one of the largest sports betting houses in the world, has started a training program focused on Brazil for its employees in Europe. Professionals are receiving Portuguese classes to better understand and serve sportsbook users in the country. “Brazil is an important market for us, our team wants to be able to communicate in the local language during visits to the country and meetings,” highlights Kim Daly, director of marketing at Betfair.

Betfair, one of the biggest sports betting houses in the world and with a strong presence in Brazil, started a training program for its employees based in Dublin, London and Malta. The teams are receiving Portuguese classes with the aim of further expanding the already well-evaluated service provided to Brazilian users.

“Brazil is an important market for us, our team wants to be able to communicate in the local language during visits to the country and meetings, so we are committed to learning the language. We have hired several Brazilians in our offices in Dublin, London and Malta, which has helped us a lot to better understand the culture, Brazilian bettors and also to communicate with the market,” says Kim Daly, director of marketing at Betfair International.

The focus on the subject is so great that even in its social networks Betfair has demonstrated this attention to the Brazilian market, stating that “we are excited to announce that Betfair is offering Brazilian Portuguese classes for our amazing colleagues.”

The training is being carried out with a mixture of face-to-face and online group sessions so that everyone interacts in Portuguese and improves in the language to better understand and serve Brazilian users.
