The conference track will take place during the first day of Latin America’s iGaming and sports betting event, Wednesday, November 1st, and will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Miami.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear unique perspectives from top industry executives from companies such as Betway, Betcris, Better Collective, Vibra Gaming and Entain amongst others. Discussions will cover key topics such as the lessons international operators can learn from Latin American markets, the player protection strategies that Brazil must consider in the lead-up to regulated sports betting, and the impact of online gaming in regions that traditionally prefer land-based gaming.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, said: “The Latinoamérica region is currently experiencing an exponential amount of growth and development, providing a variety of learning opportunities for delegates. By securing expert speakers from local and international brands, and regulatory bodies, we hope to equip attendees with the right knowledge and strategic thinking to make a meaningful impact in the region.”
The panel titled ‘LatAm Leaders: A New Crucible For Innovation In Gaming And Sports Betting,’ will discuss whether the Latin American region can become a new hub for innovation in sports betting and iGaming. Industry experts Gonzalo Perez (CEO, Apuesta Total), JD Duarte (CEO, Betcris), Juan Jose Mantese (VP LatAm, Meridianbet) and Xabier Maribona (CEO, Grupo Retabet), will examine how the introduction of international operators in the region, the distinctive Latin American spin on traditional gaming verticals by local operators, and the multitude of emerging markets, are facilitating the perfect environment for innovation.
The ‘Cross-Border Collaboration: Regulatory Re-Alignment Across Latin America’s Gaming Markets’ panel will explore the possibility of a continent-wide regulatory alignment.
