GMB – Unlike other sports betting operators, Clube da Sorte, as a marketing company, can advertise the sector on Facebook. How did you arrive at this qualification?
Geraldo Lima – We are the only agency in Brazil that can advertise on Facebook. We are licensed by them and we have something that nobody has in the national market. This is due to the fact that for over three years Facebook issued this type of license, we were already operating in the segment. With the regulation pending, Facebook will not issue licenses until the regulation comes out. But since we already had it, Facebook honors this license that already exists. Today, we give our customers the possibility to advertise their products without any type of restriction. They can say whatever they want to communicate with their customers and bring results.
Did that open many doors for Clube da Sorte, since there are so many bookmakers that have been looking for spaces in the online media?
Yes. It opened doors. We have only been in the market for nine months as an agency, but we own the largest companies operating in Brazil, such as Mr.JackBet and Aposta Ganha. They are already linked to our business model because they saw the potential that this brings, which is ads on Facebook, bringing quality and results.
In an international fair like BiS SiGMA, are you opening up even more possibilities?
For sure. We are bringing here a niche of possibilities and the fair opened up many opportunities and allowed us to close deals, bringing new companies into our structure.
How do you see the regulation of sports betting?
To be quite honest, I think it will still be discussed a lot and I believe that we will not have a definition of the regulations before the end of the year. I even think that the online casino will even be included in the sports betting regulation project. I'm not worried that this will happen now. We still have some time ahead of us in terms of discussions.
What will be Clube da Sorte's future step when the regulation comes?
In addition to the tool that we assign to our client, we have all the know-how of the tool. Regardless of regulation or not and whether customers have won licenses or not, with our intelligence in this process, we have a lot to offer through specialization for over four years. Our team is highly specialized in gambling. We are not an agency to just raise marketing or advertising structures. We are highly qualified in this segment. So, regulation or not is indifferent, because I know that my product and service can be linked to any customer with great quality.
