With each passing day, more sports betting houses launch their operations in the growing Brazilian market. This is the case of Michael.bet that, before starting its activities, carried out all the tests to guarantee users a unique experience. In an exclusive interview with the GMB, commercial manager Arthur Figueiredo said that the company 'wants many affiliates as partners, offering them market’s best commission.'

GMB – Michael.bet has just been born and we would like to know what led you to launch a bookmaker and what is your expectation of acting in this important economic segment?
Arthur Figueiredo
– As you said, Michael.bet entered the market recently, after months and months of tests to make sure that the whole operation was in order. Michael.bet arrives in the market very seriously and working with the main providers, both software and payment gateway and game developers.
Our goal is to be one of the big companies to offer the best usability and navigability possible for our users. It is worth mentioning that we have, in the casino vertical, a large portfolio of more than 1,000 games from the main developers. In addition, our sports betting area has very competitive odds. As for payment methods, we have a wide portfolio and speed, ensuring good gameplay for users.

Before entering the market, did you prepare to ensure that all activities were well resolved and accepted by the end user?
Perfect. As I said, there were months of tests and we started the operation recently. We have been getting a lot of new players as well as affiliates. With that in mind, I would like to invite affiliates from Brazil to talk with us. For a limited time, we will offer the best commissions in the Brazilian market. Without a doubt, we took every precaution and, in addition to working with the main partners in the global market, we tried to start the operation only when it was very smooth.

Regulation in Brazil is about to happen. Is Michael.bet already preparing for this and looking for international certifications?
Undoubtedly. We have the work of a very competent consultancy working with us and preparing us for the scenario of the regulated Brazilian market.

Who are you waiting for the “come to Michael.bet” invitation? Do you intend to operate throughout Brazil or will it be a regional operation?
At this first moment, we are looking for Brazilian users, but we already have a roadmap to expand to Latin America. In addition, we intend to launch new brands to work in the global market. We are going to launch new bookmakers in the future.

How do you intend to do this and what will be Michael.bet's strategies to attract users? Will it be brand ambassadors and support for clubs and championships?
We have all these possibilities in the marketing roadmap and a team focused on all these fronts. But right now, close to launch, we are focusing on affiliates, for whom we have excellent commissions.

By the way, the affiliation sector in iGaming guarantees an excellent support base for bookmakers, doesn't it?
Exactly. We believe in that a lot and we have a growing base of affiliates and that's our bet. We have an exclusive service sector for affiliates so that they can help us at this launch moment to attract users to stay with us.
