nanocosmos CEO to talk about microbetting at Streaming Media Connect event

Microbetting became an emerging trend in iGaming that is gaining attention for its potential to boost engagement and revenue for operators. As part of the Streaming Media Connect event, nanocosmos CEO Oliver Lietz will be part of a panel discuss the connection between microbetting and ultra-low latency streaming.

The combination of real-time streaming and microbetting has been taking the world of online entertainment and gambling by storm. With the widespread availability of high-speed internet and advancements in technology, real-time streaming has become a popular medium for consuming live content, while microbetting has revolutionized the way people engage in online betting.

Withthis in mind, the organizers of the Streaming Media Connect 2023 event decided to set up a panel to discuss the topic.

The “Sportsbook Streaming: Microbetting and Other Factors Driving Ultra-Low-Latency Streaming” panel will take place next August 22nd, (2:30 pm - 3:30 PM ET).

With Jason Thibeault (Streaming Video Technology Alliance) as moderator, the specialists that make up the panel are Oliver Lietz (nanocosmos), Robert Reinhardt (videoRx) and Darcy Lorincz (Barret-Jackson Auction Company) as speakers.

In the arena and beyond, sports betting minute-to-minute micro-betting is suddenly everywhere these days. It’s made ultra-low-latency streaming more mission-critical than ever in the sports world, where it was always at a premium. What are the challenges of (nearly) zeroing out latency today? How realistic is the possibility? And with the rise of 5G and other enabling tech, how close are we to getting there?” the organizers comment when introducing the session.
