Happy Initiative, the charity arm of the online gaming platform Platincasino, based in Malta and operating in Brazil since January of this year, collaborated with the donation of 12 tons of food.
In all, the event, which sold out the main stadium in the capital of Tocantins state, collected 100 tons, which were donated to more than 40 institutions.
Throughout its existence, Futebol Solidário has already collected more than 200 tons of food in other charitable actions.
The partnership with Futebol Solidário is another one of the company's actions in Brazil with a social nature, in the investment in sports practice and assistance to those most in need.
The Happy Initiative is already a partner of Instituto Bola Pra Frente, owned by former player Jorginho, which helps around 15,000 residents of Complexo do Muquiço, and Centro Esportivo Santa Marta, both located in Rio de Janeiro.
“We at the Happy Initiative are always looking for new ways to help the community, whether by encouraging the practice of a sport or donating food that can benefit countless families. The partnership with Futebol Solidário is another step in this work, especially when we are alongside such a serious organization that does an exceptional job in the state of Tocantins,” said a spokesperson for the company.
At last Saturday's event, those who went to the Nilton Santos Stadium witnessed big names in football parading on the pitch, such as Danrlei, Petkovic, Elias and Flávio Conceição.
Created in 2012, Platincasino arrived in Brazil in January 2023. The platform, registered in Malta, licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) since 2018, offers a variety of games, from the most traditional ones such as slot machines, roulette, poker and blackjack, to newer ones like Aviator and Gates of Olympus.
At Platincasino it is also possible to place sports bets on the main championships in Brazil and worldwide.
