RBR promotes Las Vegas GP with car on top of Caesar's Palace casino

The 2023 F1 season will have a long-awaited and hyped return to the calendar: The Las Vegas GP, in a night race, to be held in November. As a way of promoting the event, RBR released a promotional video with a car on top of Caesar's Palace, one of the most traditional hotels and casinos in the city. Watch from 0:48 in the video below.

The recordings of the promotional piece had already attracted attention in November 2022, when fans spotted the RB7, used by Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in 2011, inside a casino.

Formula 1 treats the Las Vegas GP as the first in history, but the category has already passed through the city in the 1980s. In 1981 and 1982, the race was held in another location, on the outskirts of Caesar's Palace.

This year, the GP will be around the Las Vegas Strip, the street that concentrates the main attractions of the city. Nelson Piquet even won his first world title in the American race.

The Las Vegas urban circuit will be 6.12 km long, 17 curves, two DRS activation zones, two chicanes and three straights - the longest between turns 10 and 11. The race will have 50 laps.

Due to time zone issues, as Las Vegas is located on the west coast of the United States, the start will take place at 10:00 pm (local time) on Saturday, November 18th. In Brazil, the race starts at 3 am on Sunday.

Today, the United States is the only country with three races on the F1 calendar. In addition to the new dispute in Vegas, the country already hosts the Miami GP - played for the first time in 2022 - and the now traditional United States GP, at the Circuit of the Americas, in Austin (Texas).
