Sports trader Pedro Feitosa brings his experience to Brazilian Lounge podcast second episode

Brazilian sports trader Pedro Feitosa was the guest of a new edition of the Brazilian Lounge podcast, where he talkeds about the evolution of the sector and local gamblers. Lawyer by profession, he abandoned the law to embrace what he loves most, football. In conversation with presenters Ricardo Magri, Alessandro Valente and Witoldo Hendrich Jr., Feitosa said that he has been involved in the area for over ten years.

Focused on the iGaming sector, the Brazilian Lounge podcast received its second guest, sports trader Pedro Feitosa, who has been working in the area for over a decade. He abandoned law due to his passion for football and his experience with sports betting.

Throughout this time, he has expanded his network of contacts and today he has 1.14 million followers on Instagram, “where I talk to many people who are looking for information about sports betting. I don't like to identify myself as an influencer, but the meaning of the word puts me in that position,” said Feitosa.

According to the trader, the Brazilian gambler has evolved a lot, especially after the legalization of sports betting by Law 13.756/2018. “The market has grown and obviously sports lovers have come to understand the activity better and become increasingly involved with betting. The market has become very important for influencers, just as they have also become fundamental for bookmakers,” he analyzed.

He confirmed that he is not sponsored by any sportsbook and that his action is much more of guidance on the best bets. “As a tipster, I bring bettors the best opportunities, exempt for not directing a recommendation to a bookmaker.”

His entrance to the sector came after works developed for the artist Gabriel Diniz. “I always liked football and betting, so betting was in my blood, as it is in the blood of every Brazilian. When I started to take care of Gabriel Diniz's advisory, media and contracts, I got to know a bookmaker and started to understand this market.”

He highlighted that it was an opportunity for him and that led him to dedicate himself to the topic and contribute with his knowledge of the market. “People liked football and betting, but they didn't know how to do it. They didn't know how to register at a house, how to place a bet, how to analyze a game technically to place a bet,” he said.

“I identified a possibility and thought: I have knowledge and I think I can collaborate here. From there, the idea of communicating on social networks came up and things started to happen,” he explained.

For him, new technologies such as ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence are here to help the market, if used correctly. “They cannot do anything for you, but add experiences and open your mind to new possibilities,” Feitosa analyzed.

The podcast episode featured presentations by Ricardo Magri (director of Brazilian Lounge), Alessandro Valente (co-founder of Brazilian Lounge) and Witoldo Hendrich Junior (co-founder of Hendrich Advogados and director of Online IPS).
