YouTube decides to broadcast Paulistão games on CazéTV in 2024

YouTube decided to air the broadcasts of its games in Paulistão 2024 on CazéTV. The channel of streamer Casimiro Miguel scored, with that, another goal and will show the 16 matches of the package contracted by the platform, one per round in the first phase, in addition to a match in the quarterfinals, one in the semifinal, and the two duels of the grand finale, these displayed for free.

The games of the Sao Paulo state championship were already broadcast on the platform since the 2022 season, when the "Paulistão" channel became responsible for showing the matches. This channel will continue to exist and will show other tournaments, such as Paulistão Feminino, Copinha, Paulistão Série A2, in addition to transmissions in web radio format in the men's Paulistão itself.

"YouTube's goal is to bring the best experience to users and sponsors. In the last two seasons of Paulistão, we took important steps and learned a lot together with the Paulista Football Federation," said YouTube's sports partnerships manager, Victor Machado.

“We believe that this move to take live broadcasts of the men's Paulistão 2024 to CazéTV on YouTube in partnership with the FPF is another leap in this evolution and further amplifies the reach of competition on the platform," he added.

"The broadcast of Paulistão 2024 on CazéTV is another step that we take towards connecting with fans in a new way. In the first two years of the partnership with YouTube, we grew a lot and, next season, we will manage to reach a level of engagement and audience, ensuring greater visibility for the competition, clubs and sponsors of the championship," said FPF's executive vice president of communication and marketing, Bernardo Itri.

CazéTV has already broadcast events such as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the 2023 Women's World Cup held a few weeks ago in Australia and New Zealand, the FIFA Club World Cup held in February, and Vasco and Botafogo games in the Carioca Championship.

Casimiro's channel currently shows competitions such as the Bundesliga, Athletico Paranaense games in the Brasileirão, in addition to maintaining a partnership with the Canal Olímpico do Brasil in the broadcast of events in other sports. CazéTV has already secured the 2023 Pan American Games, in October.

For Paulistão 2024, in addition to the presence of Casimiro himself, CazéTV intends to include other content creators related to São Paulo football in the broadcasts.

In addition to YouTube with CazéTV, Paulistão also has rights commercialized with Record on open TV and with Warner Bros. Discovery, owner of TNT and HBO Max, on paid platforms.
