Official sponsor of the women club team from São Paulo

With donation of sporting goods, galera.bet carries out activation for Ferroviária players

Sports betting operator galera.bet made a surprise visit to Ferroviária players. The action consisted of delivering sporting goods to the São Paulo club's athletes, which included the provision of personalized bags and caps. The brand is the official sponsor of ‘Guerreiras Grenás’, two-time champion of the Brasileirão and Libertadores in the category.

The initiative is part of the partnership between the team and the company, signed in February this year. Since then, the official sponsor of the São Paulo team has offered special activations and exclusive experiences for ‘Guerreiras Grenás’ fans, aiming at supporting and making visible women's football.

For Marcos Sabiá, CEO of galera.bet, support for the sport is of paramount importance. “For us at galera.bet it is a challenge based on the conviction of being involved in women's sport. We started in the modality sponsoring the Brasileirão Feminino (Serie A of Brazilian women's football), we went through some clubs and today we are proud of the successful partnership with a club as successful as Ferroviária.”

With a great tradition in the Brazilian football scene, Ferroviária has won the Brasileirão (2014 and 2019) and Libertadores (2015 and 2020) for the second time in its history. Currently, it is going through a decisive week and divides the focus between the semifinal of the Brazilian Women's Championship and the fight for the G-4 of the Paulista Championship.

"Personally, I am a great advocate of promoting diversity and we live this very intensely at galera.bet. In all our actions we have this concern and looking at this agenda is essential, because we believe that we have a gigantic challenge. Because we know the existing obstacles for women to conquer a space that should already be theirs. Women should be wherever they want and football is one of those spaces," concludes Sabiá.
