Betsson takes Zé Roberto to Lima for Brazil's qualifying match against Peru

Bookmaker Betsson will take the former Brazilian national team player and ambassador of the brand, Zé Roberto, to Brazil's next match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The star will visit the headquarters of the Betsson office in Lima, meet the operator's team and some users of the betting platform.

The former athlete, who played for Portuguesa, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Santos, Hamburg, Al-Gharafa, Grêmio and Palmeiras, will participate in Betsson actions next Tuesday (12), in Lima, in Peru, when Brazil is looking for its first victory away from home, after the 5-1 defeat in the competition's debut.

Among the activations prepared by the bookmaker, Zé Roberto will visit the Betsson office in Lima, meet the operator's team and some users of the betting platform.

Furthermore, the former footballer will participate in the Peruvian program "Al Ángulo", broadcast live, which discusses topics related to football.

Furthermore, he will attend a Betsson Meet & Greet in the box at the National Stadium in Lima with guests from the company and, of course, he will watch the Brazil game, which will take place at 11pm (Brasília time).

It is worth noting that Zé Roberto will also carry out a series of actions on social media, with the production of exclusive content for Betsson platforms during the trip: “Zé Roberto is the best strategic partner we could think of,” declared Andrea Rossi, commercial director for Southern Europe and Latin America at Betsson Group.

With the Brazilian team, Zé Roberto won the Confederations Cup titles, in 1997 and 2005, and the Copa América, in 1997 and 1999. In 2006, even with Brazil's elimination in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, the midfielder was one of the players chosen to make up the 2006 FIFA World Cup squad.

Zé Roberto and Betsson have maintained a partnership since July 2022, when the athlete signed a three-year agreement with the brand and became the operator's global ambassador. Recently, the former athlete participated in activations before the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand 2023, as well as carried out actions during the Men's World Cup in Qatar 2022.
