Specializing in payment solutions, Paag began its activities in the iGaming and sports betting sector with an eye on growth opportunities for solutions that combine a strong concern with compliance and very competitive rates.
For Paag's CEO, João Gabriel Fraga, security in high-risk financial transactions is one of the company's differentiators and the firm’s representatives hope to use this expertise at the SBC Summit to expand its operations beyond Latin America in 2024.
João Gabriel, who has already managed financial security management teams in fintechs in Silicon Valley, states that in addition to offering a safe and fast payment method, Paag can add its know-how in high risk and fraud prevention to collaborate with consolidation of the betting market.
According to him, fraud prevention is fundamental to the credibility of sports betting houses. Therefore, the adoption of robust measures to adapt to regulations and combat illicit activities should be a concern for sector leaders. “We are committed to helping this market by offering secure payment processes that benefit not only bookmakers, but also players,” says João Gabriel.
Participating in the SBC Summit is an opportunity to expand networking and showcase the work that Paag has developed in Brazil, which is why the company has its main experts in Barcelona. “The biggest players on the market are present at the fair, as well as new products and trends for iGaming in general. Contact with other companies helps us exchange information and offer new products and solutions,” says João Gabriel.
According to the organizers, this year's edition of the SBC Summit will be the largest in the event's history, and will be attended by 15,000 industry professionals. There will be 80 hours of content, including lectures and presentations, divided into eight conference rooms. Topics include sports betting, casino, iGaming, payments, emerging technologies, innovation, digital marketing and gaming security.
