Betsson appoints Álvaro Martins Azeredo as new country manager Brazil

Betsson.com, a global reference operator in online betting, has just appointed Álvaro Martins Azeredo as the new country manager Brazil. The executive, with extensive experience in the sports betting market, joins the company team in order to look closely at operations in Brazil. In the country, the firm has an extensive history in the field of horse racing betting, where it holds a license issued by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Born in Minas Gerais and with a degree in mechanical engineering and computer science, the new Betsson executive in Brazil has developed a career dedicated to the presence of Sportsbet.io in Brazil over the last six years.

Álvaro comes from enriching experiences, most recently as an affiliate manager, account executive and head of operations in Brazil.

Álvaro, with his extensive experience in the iGaming area, will be based at Betsson's offices in Stockholm and Malta at this point, in order to look at operations in Brazil.
