Interest in the five continents

Lottopar website has already been accessed in 50 countries for sports betting consultations

Access to the Lottopar website in 50 different countries is mainly due to the new regulation of the betting market in Brazil, with Paraná being one of the most advanced states and one of the pioneers in the sector. For the body's president, Daniel Romanowski, “this global reach demonstrates the commitment to total transparency in the authority's processes.”

Since the Lottopar website came into operation, it has registered almost 24 thousand views, with an average session duration of more than four minutes.

The authority's portal was accessed in 50 countries, in 529 cities, on five continents, and such numbers are justified by the interest of companies in the lottery sector in seeking information from the market regulated in the State and in participating in the accreditation process for fixed-odd bets, in addition to other accreditations that are in progress, such as the licensing of testing and certification laboratories to work with these lottery operators.

Another determining factor for these accesses, in addition to Brazilian territory, is due to the fact that Lottopar is associated with one of the most important institutions in the betting and lottery sector in the world, the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Bets (CIBELAE). The main news and notices are sent to this institution, which in turn disseminates Lottopar information among its members, in more than 80 countries, in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Fourth largest economy in Brazil

Another aspect that may have aroused interest in the lottery market in Paraná is that in addition to the State being one of the pioneers in regulating this sector, it is also the fourth largest economy in Brazil, surpassing Rio Grande do Sul.

The data comes from the Regional Accounts System (SCR) and was released by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), which indicates that Paraná's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) totaled R$487.93 billion (US$ 98.1bn) in 2020.

In other words, the lottery market in the State is promising and, with regulation, is on track to provide more security to players, in addition to providing new resources so that the Government can invest in the areas of housing, public security and social actions.

“This global reach with the disclosure of Lottopar's actions demonstrates the commitment of the Government of Paraná to providing total transparency to the authority's processes,” highlighted Lottopar's CEO, Daniel Romanowski.

“What also contributes to this is the wide dissemination on our website of all the authority's actions, since any citizen of Brazil and worldwide can have access to both our executive agenda, news, information, and all the notices that cover the process of regulating fixed odds bets."
