The report recommends the presentation of a bill that establishes a state policy to attract and encourage the promotion of the electronic gaming ecosystem and another proposal that deals with the constitution and operation of the activity in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
At the same time, the opinion suggests the mobilization, together with the UNALE (National Union of Legislators and State Legislatures), of the creation of a working group (WG) to coordinate, in the National Congress, the improvement of legislative matters and, thus, guarantee the sharing between the states of public resources - fees and taxes obtained from the regulation of gaming and sports betting.
According to the rapporteur, the activity has great potential in Rio Grande do Sul. With the regulation of betting and other activities, there could be rules for the installation of international companies in the state.
Deputies Professor Claudio Branchieri (Podemos), Guilherme Pasin (PP), Rodrigo Lorenzoni (PL) and Gustavo Victorino (Republicans) spoke in favor of the report.
