The officials who benefited from the scholarships that the WLA grants to Cibelae are Camila Rojas Vega, product engineer for the Lottery of Concepción in Chile, and Fernanda Proença, parent consultant for Loterias CAIXA in Brazil. Both professionals have been selected to attend this important event that brings together leaders and experts from the lottery and gaming industry.
The seminar, which will take place from 27 to 29 September 2023, will be hosted by Norsk Tipping (Norwegian Government gambling company) and will address key issues related to sustainability and responsible gaming. This year, the focus will be on the “New Normal of Sustainability”, which has a significant impact on all areas of companies around the world.
“We are delighted to offer this opportunity to Camila Rojas Vega and Fernanda Proença and we thank the WLA for being able to award these scholarships,” declared Rodrigo Cigliutti, executive director of Cibelae.
“This seminar will provide an invaluable platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the field of lotteries and responsible gaming. We are sure that your participation will further enrich our lottery community in Ibero-America.”
During the event, the new EL Sustainability Guidelines will be officially presented. In addition, there will be a special focus on the normalization of responsible gaming, youth participation in gaming, and the social costs of lotteries, among other relevant topics.
