What is your assessment of Altenar's performance and growth in the Brazilian market in 2023?
We achieved very interesting partnerships, confirming that our product is adapted and ready for the Brazilian audience. We hope to continue growing in the country, assisting a very important market, this time with the support of regulation.
Could you list the main achievements or goals achieved?
The year 2023 was crucial for Altenar. For the second consecutive year, we received the SBC award for the best sports betting supplier in Latin America. On the product level, we are very happy and proud of what we have achieved, with widgets and what they allow us to do for our clients in terms of user experience, product tools like bonus promotions, or the coveted Bet Builder.
I also mention the commercial agreements with more and more suppliers, allowing us to have an attractive product for any country in the region. We opened the new office in Uruguay, and we have great expectations about what we can do in terms of business support for our partners in the region.
In your sector, which themes or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2024? What will be the future trends?
I believe that what AI can do and advances in terms of user experience will bring a lot of satisfaction to the sector. Being able to provide the user with more entertainment options, in an increasingly simple and intuitive way. New betting markets, new sports, differentiated options, innovative promotions, everything influences. Regulation will also bring confidence to bettors, and we will all contribute to the industry's growth.
What is your overall opinion on the regulation of the sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil?
I have always thought that a regulated market is the best opportunity for industry growth. It brings confidence to bettors, control over bookmakers, and all participants. It's an excellent situation in Brazil, starting with regulation is giving that initial kick that allows controlled, safe growth with benefits for all market participants.
What are the main goals/objectives of Altenar for 2024 in the Brazilian market? And globally?
Altenar is an important company with market knowledge, technological resources, and a team of people committed to the growth of the industry and the company.
