Esportes da Sorte secures sponsorship deal with Samba School Acadêmicos do Salgueiro for Carnival 2024

Esportes da Sorte becomes the new sponsor of the Samba School Acadêmicos do Salgueiro, one of Rio de Janeiro's most traditional carnival groups. This isn't the first time the sports betting platform has invested in the Rio de Janeiro carnival, as it is also a sponsor of Grande Rio, the reigning Rio de Janeiro champion for two editions. In addition to having its brand prominently displayed and engaging in promotional activities with giveaways at Salgueiro's rehearsal venue throughout all rehearsals, the company is planning significant activations for this year's parade day.

Regarding the sponsorship of the Salgueiro Samba School and the investments made in the Rio de Janeiro carnival, Darwin Henrique da Silva Filho, CEO of the Esportes da Sorte Group, comments: "It is a pleasure to participate in such a beautiful celebration like the Rio de Janeiro carnival. We understand that by sponsoring such a traditional school as Salgueiro, we are also investing in preserving the history of samba in Rio de Janeiro and are very excited about the benefits that this relationship can bring."

Founded on March 5, 1953, the school has already won nine titles in the Special Group of the Rio de Janeiro carnival, with the last one in 2009. For this year, fans are eagerly anticipating the school's performance, especially due to the chosen theme for the samba presentation. The Salgueiro Samba School will parade to the theme "Hutukara," written by the carnival designer Edson Pereira, celebrating the Yanomami people. The school will be the third to parade on February 11.

In addition to sponsoring Salgueiro, Esportes da Sorte has also invested in Grande Rio and sponsors Galo da Madrugada, the world's largest carnival block that parades through the streets of Recife (PE). During last year's carnival celebrations, the company sponsored more than 80 events throughout the country, including VIP areas, corporate spaces, and carnival blocks. Furthermore, the company stood out for its growing presence in the entertainment industry, sponsoring concerts, festivals, and reality shows in the past year.
