Esportes da Sorte confirms interest in competing for sponsorship of Palmeiras men’s team

Darwin Henrique da Silva Filho, CEO of the Esportes da Sorte group, confirmed the bookmaker's intention to compete for sponsorship of the Palmeiras men's uniform, as revealed this Friday (19) by ge. The company has just closed the masters with the club's women's team and wants more. President Leila Pereira has already warned that she will open competition with Crefisa and Faculdade das Américas, which are in the last year of their contract.

New master sponsor of the women's team's shirt, Esportes da Sorte has already informed the club of its interest in participating in the competition for the spaces at Crefisa and Faculdade das Américas.

“We were already located in large centers across the country, but we saw the capital of São Paulo as a watershed for our purposes. And Palmeiras appeared at the ideal time, as it is a club that has perfectly the same values of greatness that our brand has, with increasingly greater growth objectives, in addition to an extremely passionate and engaged fan base,” stated Darwin Henrique da Silva Filho, CEO of the Esportes da Sorte group.

“The prospects are the best possible, as we want to be long-term partners with Palmeiras. We have already made clear our interest in increasing the partnership in the future for the men's team, with more investments, since today the contract only covers a few properties,” he reinforced.

The contract between Palmeiras and Esportes da Sorte for the master sponsorship of the women's event was not disclosed, but as GMB anticipated, it was closed at R$20 million (US$ 4.05m), a little less than what president Leila Pereira wanted, R$22 million (US$ 4.5m).

There have still been no conversations about the numer that O Esportes da Sorte will offer in competition for sponsorship of the team, but the current contract between Crefisa and FAM pays a fixed R$81 million (US$ 16.4m) per season, which could reach R$120 million (US$ 24m) depending on the team's achievements.
