U$ 11 million Contract

Casa de Apostas acquires naming rights for Arena Fonte Nova

Arena Fonte Nova will have a new name starting from the 2024 season. With the end of the previous contract, a naming rights agreement was signed with Casa de Apostas, a prominent Brazilian brand in the betting sector. The arena will be renamed 'Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova' from the first quarter of this year.

The signed contract is valid for four years, and it includes considerations for all football matches and shows held at the venue. The total value of properties commercialized at Arena Fonte Nova, including naming rights with Casa de Apostas, sector rights, and supply agreements with other commercial partners, will be US$ 2.75 million annually. In other words, over four years, the revenue generated through these properties would be approximately US$ 11 million.

Itaipava, a brand of Grupo Petrópolis, which named Fonte Nova for the last 10 years, will continue as a strategic partner of Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova. The agreement that includes the exclusive supply of beers and energy drinks belonging to the Group will be maintained. Additionally, sponsorships of the Itaipava Box and the bars and exhibition spaces of the brands will continue, with experience activations at events held on-site.

This is another milestone for Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova, which, for a decade, has become a reference as one of Brazil's main structures for sports and entertainment events. The arena is a leisure center that drives business in the capital of Bahia, directly contributing to the promotion of key sectors of the Salvadoran economy, such as the hotel industry, travel agencies, bars, and restaurants.

"It is a huge satisfaction for us to sign this pioneering and historic agreement to name one of Brazil's main arenas, which hosts globally significant events. This is an action of great magnitude, and we hope it will yield good results for us, for Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova, and especially for the public," concludes Anderson Nunes, Business Head of Casa de Apostas.
