Initially, Flamengo will receive $ 4 million upfront and an additional $ 6 million in five installments. BRB, the former main sponsor of the Rubro-Negro, will now showcase its brand on the shoulders for $ 1.3 million for three months.
This is the biggest contract ever paid by a brand to occupy the main sponsorship of a jersey. BRB, which had the status of the club's main partner since 2020, had disbursed a total of $ 4.5 million for the main quota in the second half of 2023. In other words, Pixbet will pay at least $ 8 million more for the sponsorship.
Pixbet, the sponsoring company, is known for its commitment to sports in all its forms. The agreement had been under discussion for two months, considering that the current one expires in December of this year.
The new contract includes clauses that require Pixbet to seek a license from the federal government, something the betting house will have to do, especially now with the recent approval of Law 3,626, which regulates that market.
With the changes and increases in sponsorships, Flamengo's jersey is now valued at $ 46 million per year, as outlined in the following breakdown:
* Pixbet (main): $ 17,5 million/year
* Adidas (supplier): $ 14 million/year
* BRB (shoulders): $ 1.2 million
* Mercado Livre (back): $ 4.5 million/year
* SIL (sleeve): $ 2,5 million
* ABC (shorts): $ 1,5 million
* Tim (number): $ 1 million
* Assistant card (rear bar): $ 4 million
