GMB - What is your assessment of XSA Sports' performance and growth in 2023 in general? Was it as expected or did it exceed your expectations?
Bruno Almeida - We really had an incredible year that exceeded our expectations in several aspects. We managed to reach some significant milestones, with emphasis on the launch of new products in the area of sports betting and online casino.
What is your assessment of XSA Sports' performance and growth in the Brazilian market in 2023?
I can say that we managed to exceed all the expectations we had for this year, growing not only in the quality level of our product, but also in the size of our team, which grew by more than 80% in 2023.
Could you list the main achievements or objectives achieved?
This year we really had several important milestones. Among them I can mention the launch of our online casino vertical where we managed to close partnerships with major suppliers in the global market such as Pragmatic Play, always seeking to offer the best content for our operators.
In your sector, what themes or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2024? What will be the future trends?
As in other sectors, artificial intelligence will certainly occupy a prominent place in 2024 in the iGaming industry, whether in its use for developing new games, data analysis, identifying user behavior and/or security.
What is your general opinion about the regulation of the sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil?
I see regulation as something very important and positive to bring more stability, clarity and security not only for us suppliers but also for operators and users in our country. I hope that Brazil really manages to apply regulations that are fair and that attract more and more investment into the industry in our country, mirroring regulations that have been successfully implemented around the world.
What are XSA Sports' main goals/objectives for 2024 in the Brazilian market? And on a global level?
We intend to continue bringing innovation to our market, whether through our own development or through successful partnerships like the ones we have built in 2023. We will also take some steps towards expanding our operations beyond Brazilian borders, initially targeting LatAm.
