Rivalry, a sports betting and online gaming platform headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with a presence in major regulated markets worldwide, including Brazil where the sector is formalizing, has appointed Willian Correa as the new Vice President of Engineering.
"I am excited to share that I have embarked on a new journey, joining the team at Rivalry.com as VP of engineering. In an era where perceptions of betting range from skepticism to concern, I am interested in contributing to a company that upholds the highest standards of industry responsibility and integrity," he stated in a post on LinkedIn.
With extensive experience in the technology sector, Correa comes from a previous role in the same capacity at Rangle.io, a digital platform provider, where he also served as Senior Vice President of Technology in Toronto.
Willian Correa also served as CTO and partner at Pixel Shop for four years, and has worked in other technology companies, such as Xpirit (co-founder, CTO, and co-CEO), ASTL Software (Technical Director and partner), Omnion Consultoria, Ingris (software developer), and UOL (Linux server specialist).
Among his goals, Correa aims to strengthen the brand in Brazil, where he is hiring professionals for various positions in the Southern region. Additionally, he highlighted that there are also open positions in other markets in Latin America.
