UOL to showcase its innovative solutions for the sports betting sector at ICE London

With an important team of four representatives, including the CEO Paulo Samia, UOL, the largest digital content publisher in Latin America, is prepared for its third consecutive participation in ICE London. The executives aim to expand their knowledge and network, as well as discover new technology and product solutions. The Brazilian giant places real-time odds banners on various channels of the portal, featuring major Brazilian and international football tournaments.

“ICE London served and still serves as an important gap for UOL professionals to expand their knowledge and networking, seek new solutions in terms of technology and products, and later apply this amount of information to UOL’s content and business ecosystem,” highlights Paulo Samia, CEO of UOL.

In 2024, at the invitation of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming, Paulo Samia, will also be present at IBJR Brazilian Day, alongside Ronaldo Nazario, on the panel "The Onshore Reality from a Competitive and Commercial Perspectives", under the mediation of Andre Gelfi, entity’s president.

Guilherme Frioli, head of the betting segment, and Leandro Ramos, head of UOL ADS, reinforce that for 2024 one of UOL's main objectives will be to discover new products that can later be implemented in all media solutions, aiming for a new strategy for advertisers with even more focus on user retention and performance.

“For 2024, we have an important roadmap to be executed, aiming to improve what we already have online and implement new products that are in line with the demand of our partners, and for this purpose ICE will serve as a starting point for our decisions,” comments Frioli.
 


“UOL will also take advantage of the event to reinforce its portfolio in the market, highlighting important properties that can still be sold, such as the Olympics, Copa América, UOL Esporte Social Networks, football broadcast lists on WhatsApp, among others,” reinforces Leandro Ramos, head of UOL ADS.

For the next edition of ICE, UOL will have a team of four executives from the business and content side: Paulo Samia (CEO), Guilherme Frioli (segment head), Leandro Ramos (head UOL Ad-Tech) and Ricardo Mariani (head business executive).

They are joined by the PagBank team: Caio Costa, director of international business at PagSeguro, Clarena Furtado, head of sales America and EMEA, Gary Clarke, head of sales EMEA, and Renato Lahud, global business director, making clear the importance of the segment for the UOL group.
