With authorized gambling sites, Lottopar is attentive to the issue of Responsible Gaming and wants to offer assistance to those at risk of gambling addiction. For this reason, it has also created a page on its portal to contribute to the society of Paraná.
In addition to the requirement for authorized operators, Lottopar has also created a page on the agency's portal for both bettors and their family members to self-exclude from gambling sites. Self-exclusion can be done on this page.
The exclusion will be effective on all operators within 24 hours after the request is made by the bettor or the legal guardian of the bettor. During the exclusion period, the account is limited only to viewing history and withdrawing remaining balances.
The minimum period for self-exclusion is 30 days. Reactivation of the account can only be done by email after the defined period of self-exclusion and only by the person who requested the self-exclusion, preventing, for example, a family member from requesting self-exclusion and the bettor reactivating the account.
Washington Lemos Filho, Technical Advisor of the Operations Directorate at Lottopar, explains what self-exclusion is. "One of the tools that helps the player to stay within a responsible gaming condition is the self-exclusion system. The requirement that Lottopar makes of all operators is that they keep this functionality active within the sports betting site, allowing the bettor to request self-exclusion."
