Todos Querem Jogar starts US$37m fundraising round to grow in Brazil’s iGaming market

Todos Querem Jogar (TQJ), an investment by Grupo Silvio Santos (GSS), is seeking to raise funds from a new partner, with an investment of approximately R$200 million (US$ 37m). The goal is to consolidate TQJ's presence in the market currently valued at over R$200 billion (US$ 37bn) by 2025. As in the operation in which GSS acquired TQJ's capital, Galapagos Capital will be the exclusive advisor for the transaction.

TQJ has applied to the Ministry of Finance for a license to operate in the sports betting and online gaming market and is preparing to enter the market in the first half of 2025.

The operator announced a strategic partnership with OpenBet, a global leader in technology and services in the industry, which serves giants such as FanDuel, Sky Bet, Draft Kings, BCLC, Hard Rock Digital and Betfair.

The partnership will bring to the national market a robust ecosystem that includes cutting-edge responsible gaming technology and advanced anti-money laundering solutions from Neccton – both core concerns for TQJ – in addition to OpenBet Locator geolocation, ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulatory requirements.

The arrival of TQJ will mark a new chapter in the iGaming market in Brazil, with the potential for significant impact through the reach of the Silvio Santos Group’s business and OpenBet’s expertise, setting new standards for operators in the country.

TQJ can create the #1 environment in the high-quality and safe entertainment market, reinforcing the tradition of GSS and the robustness of OpenBet, to deliver the best for Brazilians.

Todos Querem Jogar (TQJ) is a company focused on the regulated sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil. With a minority stake in Sisan Participações, part of the Silvio Santos Group, TQJ inherits the credibility and experience of more than six decades in media, retail, tourism and capitalization, offering a safe and reliable experience for Brazilian consumers.
