“Alea carries out integrations every month to offer the games that Brazilian operators need”

A company focused on technology and offering the widest possible variety of games, Alea spoke exclusively with GMB about its expectations for the regulated market in Brazil. Business Director Lucas Lebleu stated that the firm is ready for the country and has carried out two or three integrations per month with the main iGaming providers to ensure the variety that Brazilian operators expect and need.

GMB – With a portfolio of more than 15,000 games, how does Alea view the current state of the Brazilian market, which formally begins in January 2025?
Lucas Lebleu – We are getting started right away. We are developing and preparing our company to support the partners we already have in Brazil. They have all applied for licenses for 2025, and we are very pleased with that. We will accompany them on this journey to ensure they succeed in the market.

Alea always seeks to develop and further enhance its game portfolio. Is that happening right now? Are there any new developments in terms of API?
Yes, we integrate with two or three new suppliers per month. In addition, we are constantly developing new features and investing in security, both for the API and the entire system.

Today, between 95% and 99% of our team is focused on technology development. Very few of us do not work in that area. At SBC Lisbon, we had the opportunity to present these innovations, especially to our Brazilian partners, and showcase everything we have to offer.

Is Alea's game offering sufficient for operators or are you seeking something new or products you don't yet have?
Soon, we will have many suppliers that are on the roadmap for integration, including local providers. This is also a demand from our partners, and we aim to offer a boutique service by providing the content they need. This is a priority for us.

So, is everything ready for the start of regulated operations?
Exactly, but it also depends on the suppliers, who need to do their part. They must obtain the required certificates and comply with the rules established by the Secretariat for Prizes and Betting. On our side, we are doing everything possible to be ready before the end of the year.
