GMB – What were your goals for participating in the recent SBC Summit Lisbon?
Marco Terracini – We focused on the issue of geolocation, as we want to enter different markets. The event allowed us to analyze this. We aim to establish long-term partnerships, and we know we need to understand that each market has different structures and cultures.
There is ongoing regulation in Brazil, and the market is set to launch in January. Are you prepared, and has geolocation been considered for the country as well?
We already have a plan. We are 100% ready to support our operators and form partnerships with local providers in Brazil. I can say that we are fully prepared for this and are awaiting the start of the regulated market from January 1, 2025.
Is the platform compliant with the certifications required by the government and in partnership with the laboratories authorized by the Secretariat for Prizes and Betting?
Completely.
Is there potential to reach out to operators who have not yet applied for entry into the regulated market? Are you working to persuade them?
Yes, this is very important. Brazil is a giant, and we want to be on the right side of the regulated market. For this reason, we will support all of our partners who want to be on the same side as GR8 Tech.
Given the focus you are placing on Brazil, are there plans to establish a business unit in the country?
At this moment, we are not considering a local office, but anything is possible, and things could change in the future with the progress of regulation and negotiations with our partners.
