Bookmaker Elisa.bet sponsors new podcast by Milton Neves and Alexandre Praetzel

Sponsoring the return of one of the most important sports journalists and commentators to the media, Milton Neves, was the way Elisa.bet found to make itself known in the growing gaming market in Brazil. The action aims to take advantage of the spaces created by the union of two national passions: football and betting. Commentator Alexandre Praetzel joins the journalist in a podcast that will tell stories of the sport.

Brazil leads the world ranking of accesses to sports betting and casino sites. The movement with bets in 2024 could reach R$ 216 billion (US$ 38bn) in 2024, exceeding the expectations of the Ministry of Finance.

With sponsorship from one of the newest 'Bets' - as the operators are called - created from the regulation of the sector in Brazil, Elisa.bet, sports journalists and commentators Milton Neves and Alexandre Praetzel are joining forces to tell the football stories of the more than 50 years of the iconic presenter's career, added to the 32 of the commentator. The podcast will be hosted by the new duo, together with Felipe Morais.

The podcast debuted on Tuesday (15) with the publication of the first episode, which featured an interview with coach Muricy Ramalho. The next guests are Mauro Beting, a journalist with over 34 years of experience in sports, and journalist Marilia Ruiz. The show will be sponsored by the betting house Elisa.bet, which was created with the purpose of being the home of influencers, artists and affiliates, and which has already reached 1 million players in Brazil.

Milton Neves is part of the Olympus of great presenters in our country. We are very happy to sponsor this program, because it represents his return to the audience. We believe that sponsoring initiatives like this are a way to bring information, entertainment and immortalize the stories that Milton and Pretzel will tell about Brazilian football,” says Brunno Galvão, CEO of Crownstone Ventures, a venture builder specialized in the universe of sports betting, lotteries and casinos in Brazil, responsible for the creation of Elisa.bet.

Brazilian sports have been on the rise since the arrival of betting, and this is one of the great legacies they leave in the country,” emphasizes Brunno Galvão. The executive will be one of the guests on the first month of the program.

The program marks Milton Neves' return to the sports media scene, in a modern format that contrasts with the presenter's experience and cutting-edge approach. Presented on Tuesdays and Thursdays on YouTube, it will be called "Futebol e a minha vida - com Milton Neves, Praetzel e Elisa.bet", and will feature personalities linked to the sport - former players, journalists, managers, actors/actresses, comedians - to tell behind-the-scenes stories, their life in football and the guests' funny experiences on and off the field.

Milton and Praetzel will also comment on the games of the round, in addition to a segment dedicated to suggesting possible results of the week's games.

The first episode aired on Tuesday, October 15, under the title “Football Stories”, but will be renamed “‘Football and My Life - with Milton Neves, Praetzel and Elisa.bet’”. It is available on the YouTube channel.
