OneKey Payments announces partnership to process transactions for BandBet in Brazil

OneKey Payments, an institution licensed by the Central Bank, has been selected by Bell Ventures Digital as an official partner to process financial transactions for BandBet, a new online sports betting and gaming platform in Brazil. The project is the result of a licensing agreement with Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação and marks OpenBet's entry into the Brazilian market.

BandBet, alongside Bell Ventures Digital, is among the entities authorized by the Ministry of Finance to operate in national territory during the transition period at the end of the year, according to Ordinance 1475/24.

César Garcia, CEO of OneKey Payments, celebrated the partnership and highlighted that the company’s selection to be part of BandBet’s soft-launch is a significant milestone.

“Our experience with payment solutions geared towards the digital market and our ability to provide robust and secure infrastructure positions us as a strategic partner for companies seeking to grow responsibly in Brazil. We are ready to support BandBet in offering a reliable and efficient payment experience to users, meeting the demands of a highly competitive and regulated sector."

Ricardo Bianco Rosada, a member of the Board of Directors at Bell Ventures, commented on the choice of OneKey Payments for the initial phase of the operation.

"BandBet sought a payment partner that combined security, innovation, and deep knowledge of the Brazilian market. OneKey Payments proved to be the ideal choice due to its track record of meeting the needs of regulated sectors and its ability to ensure fast and secure transactions. We trust that with them, we will have a smooth and efficient operation from the start, crucial for building the trust of our users and partners."

The soft-launch of BandBet marks the beginning of a new chapter for the sports betting market in Brazil, at a time when the sector has been facing debates about regulation and transparency. The partnership reinforces the commitment to compliance with the rules established by Brazilian authorities, promoting a safe and trustworthy environment for consumers.

OneKey Payments is a licensed IP specialist in payment technology by the Central Bank, offering a complete BaaS (‘banking as a service’) solution that allows companies to scale their incoming and outgoing transactions in a simple and secure manner, with full performance optimization.

The company offers a complete international gateway solution with easy plug-and-play integration and payment solutions in Brazil and worldwide, using Pix and boleto bancário, among other methods.
