In recent days, the Federal Government's decision to ban the operation of some betting companies in Brazil has come into effect, including Esportes da Sorte.
The company managed to obtain a restricted authorization for the state of Rio de Janeiro, through a license from Loterj, a government body that manages state lotteries in Rio. However, Palmeiras initially withdrew its displays of the brand to wait for greater legal security in the matter.
This week, the club received arguments from both the company and the Brazilian Football Confederation regarding the authorization to promote the brand.
Given these arguments and the inclusion on the list, Palmeiras resumed displaying the brand. The club understands that the company is complying with legal requirements.
Esportes da Sorte became the main sponsor of the women's football team, with activations also during the men's home games through LED signage and backdrops, as well as actions on the club's social media and website.
