WEpayments CEO attends SBC Summit Latinoamérica with a lecture on the Brazilian market

This week, Miami will host the world's leading sports betting event: SBC Summit Latinoamérica, bringing together top executives and leaders from several countries at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, in Florida. On the 31st, WEpayments CEO and co-founder Fernanda Zago will discuss how operators and payment providers can prepare and join forces to operate in the regulated local scenario.

With a packed agenda of conferences on payments and regulations, marketing, affiliation, relationships, among others, the event is an excellent opportunity for executives and their teams to network and do business.

Fernanda Zago, a specialist in payment methods for Brazil, will be present with the lecture ‘PSP & Operators - A collaborative approach in Brazil’, which draws attention to the relationship between operators and payment providers in a new market and will take place on October 31st, at 2:10 PM (local time), in conference room 3.

“With so many factors to be considered when entering a new market, such as geolocation, language, consumer habits, regulations, consumer security and emerging technologies, we will show how both parties can prepare and also how payment service providers will have to adapt to serve operators who want to operate compliantly in Brazil,” explains Zago.

The specialist has over 10 years of experience in the Brazilian payments industry, being a pioneer in the implementation of payments along with new exchange rules and methodologies to facilitate international transactions.

She is also CEO and co-founder of WEpayments, a payment institution authorized by the Central Bank to operate in the iGaming market since 2023, which is among the 20 rising Brazilian companies on the ‘LinkedIn Top Startups 2024’ list.

Wepayments will have an exclusive meeting room to present solutions and clarify how the sports betting market works in Brazil, its regulations and ordinances.
