Paraná has five sports betting and online gaming houses operating under Lottopar accreditation. They are:
- pr.apostou.com
- parana.bplay.com.br
- pr.betplay.bet
- pr.pixbet.com.br e
- pr.nossabet.com.br
All information about each of these operators can be found on the Lottopar website.
This Tuesday (1), the Ministry of Finance released a list of all sports betting companies authorized to operate in Brazil until December. There are 193 sites linked to 88 companies. Betting sites that are not on the list can no longer provide betting services in Brazil until they receive authorization from the Federal Government.
The other betting sites that are not authorized to operate by either the Federal Government or the Government of Paraná, for the purposes of the ordinance published by the Ministry of Finance, are considered illegal and are prohibited from operating in Paraná.
“With serious work, commitment and respect for the law, we are ensuring that only regulated betting sites are operating in Paraná, which offer safe entertainment for bettors and provide social benefits for all residents of Paraná,” highlighted the president of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski.
Blocks
In the coming days, the Federal Government will notify the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to block websites that are not authorized to operate in Brazil.
The measure also affects Paraná for those websites that are not regulated by Lottopar and the Union and offer betting services in the State.
Advertising
With the advancement of sanctioning measures determined by the Federal Government's Prize and Betting Secretariat, advertising on these websites that are prohibited from operating in Brazil is also restricted.
Google and the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters (Abert) have announced that they will not allow advertising on unauthorized websites.
In Paraná, Lottopar published Ordinance No. 008/2024 earlier this year, which establishes a series of rules and regulations regarding responsible advertising for authorized operators.
In addition, the Paraná State Government has partnered with the National Advertising Self-Regulation Council (Conar) as a way of ensuring that the advertising materials of these licensed operators comply with the standards and principles of responsible and safe advertising.
