GMB – What did Altenar present during the SBC Summit Lisbon?
Diego Salas – There is a strong connection between Lisbon and Brazil and many of our Brazilian clients were present. It is a pleasure to see how this location has connected us. We are launching our widgets and we have something important to present, such as Bet Booster. This is a tool that we have built and that we have already seen working in Brazil, where our clients can generate a striking improvement in the odds.
We are also presenting Rewards, basically a pool of bets is created and the player wins a jackpot. We have a series of improvements that we are very happy to show at this event and we know that they will be very welcome in Latin America.
How did the operators who work with Altenar see these new features?
They are very happy. In fact, we are one of the pioneers in the area of ??sports betting providers and to have such good quality tools like the ones we offer, built in-house. It has been a great experience for our operators and we are currently training them on how to use these tools according to their strategy to leverage these widgets.
Are there specific widgets for one or another operator that needs something different from what we already have?
That's the beauty of our system and our work style. We have these tools, but they are customizable for each client. We have top operators in countries where they use our same system, but that doesn't mean they will offer the same. They have the ease of creating a widget and using it however they want. There are many ways to be flexible and to customize to the strategy and accommodation of each country or each client.
What are your expectations regarding Brazil, where 120 companies have applied to the Ministry of Finance for their licenses? How is the proximity with them?
Expectations are very high. Fortunately, all of our clients in Brazil are on this list and it was surprising to see the number of operators that registered. We are prepared in terms of regulation to be able to provide them with a good service, as well as for the new ones that will come.
Does Altenar have plans for Brazil in 2025?
We have many plans that I cannot reveal yet, but one of them is to have a much stronger presence in the country and we are looking at alternatives for where we will physically set up. We already have offices in Uruguay and we are considering the opportunity to also have one in Brazil.
In other words, will we focus on Brazil in 2025?
Yes, it will be one of our main focuses as well.
