GMB – What did DATA.BET present at the SBC Summit in Lisbon?
Natalie Loshatynska – We showcased all the products we have and some new launches. First, we talked about Scoreboards, a widget that shows player statistics during gameplay and is available for the four most important eSports disciplines: Dota, Valorant, Counter-Strike, and League of Legends. We also presented Pitch Tracker, a 2D map that provides detailed information about the player.
These two tools, Scoreboards and Pitch Tracker, are especially useful for operators in Latin America, who face challenges with low internet speeds. The idea is to have everything available in one window, allowing players to place bets based on this information, even without video streaming. Pitch Tracker is already available for Counter-Strike and League of Legends, but will soon be available for other disciplines as well.
How has DATA.BET’s work been, especially in the Latin American market?
eSports are very popular in Latin America, especially when Brazilian teams are involved. An example is the Rainbow Six tournament, where two Brazilian teams competed in the final, breaking viewership records.
DATA.BET is focused on adapting its products for this market, aiming to make them more useful for operators and customers. This is demonstrated through widgets and other tools that capture the interest of operators in the region.
What are DATA.BET’s plans for LatAm, and especially for Brazil?
The company’s plans for this year and 2025 include further expanding its activities in Latin America, especially in Brazil, through partnerships and participation in local events. Conversations with new partners in Latin America are already underway, and the company plans to attend events in Miami and other locations to better understand the market’s needs and improve products and services for operators and customers in the region.
Is there a large roadmap of DATA.BET trade shows in the region?
Yes. Our team visited BiS SiGMA in Brazil, and the next step will take us to SBC Miami. We also have big plans in this regard for 2025.
You innovated and surprised the industry by having a great CS2 professional, "GeT RiGhT," at your booth at SBC Lisbon for a tournament. How did that go?
This idea was born during ICE London, where we had a themed arena and noticed people’s interest in eSports, which is why we decided to host a Counter-Strike tournament at SBC. To increase audience interest, we invited professional player "GeT RiGhT." It was a success, with many people participating.
Did operators get excited about the action and offering eSports betting on their platforms?
This is very helpful because they saw the interest from people. We are very connected to eSports, and with these activities, we manage to capture everyone's attention.
