“ReferOn will expand its flexibility by allowing Brazilian users to use the Portuguese language”

In an exclusive interview with GMB, Alexia Gauci, B2B Sales Manager at ReferOn, shares details about the updates planned for Q3 and Q4, including improvements to payment functionality and customer support. She also discusses the specific challenges of the Latin American market, especially in Brazil, and how the company intends to expand its operations with a focus on the flexibility and needs of local operator, such as the inclusion of the Portuguese language.

GMB – Can you tell about the best specific techniques planned for the company's Q3, since the company had an excellent performance?
Alexia Gauci
- We had a great successful Q3 based on updates that we implemented on our platform. Q4 has some really big updates, some of which obviously I can share on this interview. I am happy to announce that we will be enhancing our payment feature based on our client feedback.

We have one of our core values based on allowing and ensuring that clients feel comfortable enough to share their feedback. And that will obviously help us to improve our platform in order to support all of their needs.

One of the biggest feature improvements from our current clients and future ones to expect in Q4 will be enhanced payment options for our users. We do have more in line, but I will be sharing that later on in Q4.

How do you assess that these changes will be beneficial for users?
The announcement of our payment feature will obviously create more efficiency and ease of use to our operator users. This follows ReferOn’s second core value: creating efficiency for users, based on the feedback we received about how easy and quick it was to get the data we needed from the platform.

The next one will be payments, and it's going to be an interesting update for everyone that is on ReferOn at the moment.

What are the specific challenges for operators and affiliates in the Latin American market and how can ReferOn help them improve their performance?
Obviously the LatAm market is growing in the gaming industry. That means that there will be more demands on affiliates, which requires a suitable platform to track and manage everything that happens with your brand.

This comes with its own challenges, as in LatAm we have Portuguese speakers, different currencies, and this requires affiliate platforms to be more flexible in their offerings for certain markets.

Our plans at ReferOn for the coming year focus on creating this flexibility by allowing users to select their preferred languages, including Portuguese for those in Latin America, as well as adding new currencies, including those used in the region.

You’ve done several seminars with insights into the ReferOn market. What are the next steps and topics to be covered?
My main plan is to train and educate our users, as well as future ones, on the new features we’re implementing. As our client list grows exponentially, I’m also happy to repeat certain sessions with new clients, as this acts as a training available to anyone who signs up.

Everyone is welcome to attend these seminars to learn. And of course, this will create more time efficiency. By learning how each feature of the platform works, you save time trying to figure it out on your own, as you’ll have a one-on-one session with David and me where we’ll answer your questions right away.

Can you provide more details about the ReferOn Assist program? What types of support packages are available?
This is a new incentive that we are launching in Q4. However, what I can say is that each operator, depending on their size, requires a specific level of support. When you are a large operator, you may also need a personal support agent. This is something that we are working on at ReferOn.

We will have three different packages, each with multiple options, that can be utilized depending on the growth and demands of your affiliates and the support that you need as an operator. We will also have the option of a personal support agent. This is a big step forward for us as it gives you a lot of flexibility and the ability to choose the level of support that you need as an operator and a ReferOn user.

A total of 120 companies have applied for a license to operate in the Brazilian regulated market. How do you see this and how can ReferOn help future regulated operators?
The discussions have already started at this fair, which I am very excited about. As I mentioned, we will be introducing multi-language and multi-currency functionality. In addition, we will be participating in several events in Latin America next year, where we will also help operators with guidance on the industry and how affiliation works in the region, which is a bit different from other markets.

This will be our main goal for next year. We will work together with operators to grow in such an exciting market, especially in Brazil.

What are ReferOn’s plans for the Brazilian market in terms of expanding operations in the country?
Our main plan is to be present at more events in Latin America, especially in Brazil. I hope to expand my network in the Brazilian market and connect with many operators, gather feedback on what their needs are in terms of affiliate tracking and management. Based on that, I will work together with my team to continue developing our product to meet the needs of the Brazilian market. Let’s put it that way.
