GMB – What are the latest developments from Air Dice for the gaming market presented during the SBC Summit Lisbon?
Rocío Moitino – We are very happy to be in Lisbon for the first time to participate in this incredible event. We are bringing many new things. We launched two new slot games and one dice game. We have a large team here, from Belgium, Malta, Latin America, and Finland. We are a well-prepared team to showcase new games and share the news we are focusing on, both for the European market and worldwide, with new integrations.
Is this a demonstration of Air Dice's focus on expanding its presence in the global market, not just in Europe?
Our growth in Latin America has been consistent, supported by a strong development team working on integrations from Uruguay. This greatly facilitates our market penetration, as we have been highly in demand for this. We are happy with this, both for the integrations and for the growth in the region. Our account manager team is also growing. Air Dice is experiencing significant growth in LatAm.
In Brazil too?
Brazil is very important for us. We are following all the fairs and advancing with integrations, while also seeking all the necessary laboratory certifications to operate in Brazil's gaming sector.
More than 120 companies have applied to the Ministry of Finance seeking licenses. Are many of them already offering Air Dice games?
Yes. We are entering the Brazilian market with strength, and as I mentioned, we want to operate in a regulated manner, which is why all the certifications will be adopted to ensure a stronger presence in the country.
What are Air Dice's plans for Brazil? Is there a plan to open an office in the country?
We have a country manager for Brazil, and she lives in Rio de Janeiro. Our intention is to strengthen our presence in Latin America, and due to our proximity and the large accounts we have in the country, we will have a local team.
With so much growth in Brazil, have you considered developing specific games for the country?
It’s a great idea that we’ve been considering for some time, not only for Brazil but also for other Latin American markets. We know it’s essential to have a specific game that truly draws inspiration from Brazil, and it would be fantastic to have a game with two dice, one green and one yellow. I don’t know yet if it will be a dice game, but we will likely launch a slot game, which are highly popular in the country.
How do you plan to introduce dice games to Brazilian players, as they are still not very well-known in the country?
They are not well-known, actually. It’s something new, but it’s enough to say that they are dice-based slots. We are working with streamers to teach these games. But in Brazil, we are not only focusing on our dice titles but also mainly on bingo and slot games.
