"EveryMatrix plans its products around what the Brazilian market demands"

EveryMatrix was present at the recent SBC Summit in Lisbon, where it received GMB for an exclusive interview. Josmar Díaz, the company's senior sales manager, highlighted the launch of a customer loyalty tool for both sports betting and casinos, and stressed that it is ready for Brazil. 'We investigate what operators need and everything that is local is of total interest to us.'

GMB – What is your assessment of the SBC Summit Lisbon, and what did EveryMatrix present as new at the event?
Josmar Díaz – The event exceeded our expectations. On this occasion, we launched a new product, which is a loyalty program for both our casino and sports betting sectors. It is a set of tools that we can integrate with our operators to support them with all of our promotions and tournaments. These span across all the sports we offer, as well as the games developed by our providers.

Today, we have over 175 game providers, allowing us to create a type of customer loyalty, which in turn helps improve player retention. We are very excited about this new launch.

EveryMatrix has grown significantly in Brazil. How is the market for you?
It's really quite exciting. We started with much more momentum this year. Last year was dedicated to planning and researching what was needed to enter the Brazilian market, and now we've achieved many of our goals. So far, we've begun working with several operators. Of course, in terms of regulation, we are all adapting and waiting to see if there will be any changes. But at the rate we're going, we will be ready by January and continue into the next year with much more strength in Brazil.

For us, any regulated market is extremely interesting. Where there is new regulation, EveryMatrix will be there. Currently, we are working with many state lotteries and have more than 30 certifications and licenses across all our products, so Brazil is definitely one of the most attractive markets for us.

More than 120 companies have presented themselves to the Ministry of Finance to operate sports betting and gaming in Brazil. How is the relationship with these operators? Are many of them your clients?
Yes, we are working with some of them, not only operators but also other partners. We have many strategic partnerships in the country and are keeping up with all the changes that have emerged over the year. Everything is really going well, and we hope that next year, during ICE Barcelona, we will be able to reveal more about the Brazilian market.

Speaking of state lotteries in Brazil, local operations are growing a lot, like Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Paraíba. Are you working with these states?
Yes, we are in discussions regarding state lotteries in Brazil. Currently, we operate in more than seven state lotteries, either through our sports betting or casino segment via partner operators. In fact, some of them use all of our services to operate on a global level. So, yes, definitely, everything local in Brazil is of utmost interest to us.

And what are EveryMatrix’s plans for Brazil next year, with the market already regulated?
To enter with great strength, with some operations we are currently in talks with. In any case, we are waiting for the regulation to become official so that we can implement all the new strategies we have regarding our products.

We are heavily planning our products around what the Brazilian market demands, as I mentioned, focusing on what operators in Brazil need. We are working on a technical level to create all the tools that will help both the operators and make them more attractive to players in the country. So, we are quite excited about what is coming next year.

And regarding localization for Brazil, what are you working on?
We are working to establish an office in Brazil as well, so we can have local staff. We believe it's very important to have internal people on the operational side who know the country, speak the language, and can penetrate the market more efficiently, ensuring everything aligns with what the Brazilian market will seek in this new phase of online gaming.
