“Sportingtech has launched a new platform with the Brazilian market and users’ needs in mind”

Sportingtech, a leading provider of sports betting platforms, has just launched a new version of its product, with improvements to its UI and UX interfaces. Marina Selmi, Sales Manager, gave an exclusive interview to GMB and pointed out that the update took into account regulations in Brazil, but at the same time listened to the demands of customers and end users. “We brought new features and resources that you won’t find on the market.”


GMB – What new features did Sportingtech present at the recent SBC Miami?
Marina Selmi
– We took advantage of SBC Latinoamérica to showcase our new platform. It’s a project we’ve been working on for a long time and it features new UI and UX, completely different from what people find on the market today. I invite everyone to check out our revamped solution.

 



You’re talking about a new platform. Did Sportingtech develop it due to regulatory requirements, from the company’s customers or from the end user? How did you come up with this new product?
It was a mix of everything. We knew we needed to improve the platform with all the rules of the new regulations, and we also wanted to bring something innovative to the market. So, we have everything ready for the regulations of the Brazilian market, but we also brought new features and resources that you won’t find on any platform currently on the market.

 



How is business going in Latin America?
They are doing very well. We already have our office in São Paulo and are bringing more and more new people to the team. Sportingtech is growing a lot and business is going very well.

What are the plans for Brazil, which will be regulated in January? What is Sportingtech thinking about in terms of operations in the country?
The idea is to expand even more. We are already on a very good path with the regulations, with our clients and new ones that are joining Sportingtech. Regarding Brazil, we just need to expand, make sure that we are ready for January, to act in accordance with what the Ministry of Finance expects of us, and then focus on the rest of Latin America.

 



Are all the certifications already in order and all that is left is to present them to the Ministry of Finance?
Yes, we already have everything in order regarding GLI-19 and GLI-33 and we are in the final phase of meeting the other requirements expected of Sportingtech.

At the same time, we are working with Serpro, together with several platforms, on user data testing and other technical requirements. We are very calm and confident that by January we will be ready for Brazil's new regulated market. Come and meet us.
