GMB – Neko Games is increasingly focused on the Brazilian market, having launched numerous games for the country. And now, it presents "Carnaval." Could you talk about Neko's commitment to bringing games to Brazil?
Stefani Jacques – That’s true. We develop instant bingos, which are video bingos well known in Brazil, but with a more modern version, the 2.0. That’s why we refer to them as "instant bingo." Recently, we launched "Carnaval," inspired by the aesthetics of Rio de Janeiro's carnival.
The game has been performing very well and receiving great feedback since its release. In fact, it’s the first video bingo with the "link and win" feature, a novelty that has been well received on Games Global platforms, delivering excellent results.
Is it something innovative for video bingo?
Yes, it’s completely new and elevates the gaming experience to another level, blending slots with instant bingo. This mix attracts players of both genres, as well as those who are just starting in the online world. Players really enjoy our games because they are bingos — something familiar, requiring no rule learning. They work well not only in Brazil but in many markets.
Our games are designed with specific markets in mind but also draw international interest, especially with "Carnaval do Rio," a theme known worldwide.
Was the launch similar to "Mãe do Ouro"?
That was the first Games Global game with a Portuguese name, which is quite uncommon. Casino operators in Brazil have responded very positively, and players recognize that it’s a title made specifically for the Brazilian market, even being well-received in non-Portuguese-speaking countries.
Has this game been well-received in other countries and languages outside Brazilian Portuguese?
Yes, it has. It uses a familiar engine that ensures a quality experience for players, with bonuses and mini-games that appear as players advance and get closer to winning prizes. These additional features have been very well-received since the game is available in multiple languages, making it easier for players to understand and progress.
We’re getting close to the end of the year, and we know there are new releases coming in 2024. What’s next for Neko Games?
Yes, we’re very excited because on December 2nd, we will launch "Golden Tiger." It’s a special game with a fortune tiger theme, which always receives a strong response from players. This time, it will be a unique version of instant bingo. We are currently in an exclusive phase in some markets, and on December 2nd, it will have a global release.
Is it like Neko's little cat growing into a tiger?
Exactly. We have grown significantly, and we’re happy to reach different markets with great responses from operators. The feedback we receive is excellent and motivates us to continue innovating with new games that will change the market. Instant bingo is a game-changer, and our games make that difference. We know players are eagerly waiting for new releases from Neko Games.
With the success Neko Games has experienced this year, what are the plans for 2025, especially considering that Brazil will be regulated?
All our games will be regulated and ready for the Brazilian market soon. We have a roadmap full of exciting new releases that I can’t disclose yet, but at our next meeting — at ICE Barcelona — I hope to share more. These are games designed with players in mind, featuring elements that make them more engaging and keep players coming back for more Neko Games.
